Pacing of Unit 8 with CT Connections
Only the lessons that have a change made to them are listed below. All other lessons should be taught as shown in the EDM book.

- After telling several types of animal stories suggested in the “Interpreting and Solving Animal Stories” on p. 512 & 513, discuss “Adding Three Animal Acrobats” on p. 514.
- Complete the Animal Stories Scratch lesson. Accommodations and extensions are listed in the lesson.
- When students share their completed projects, encourage them to explain how they solved their problem.
- Consider eliminating the “Warm up” on page 512.
