Pacing of Unit 3 with CT Connections:
Only the lessons that have a change made to them are listed below. All other lessons should be taught as shown in EDM book.

- Replace “Introducing and Playing Salute” on p. 269 with the Counting Pockets Number Stories Scratch lesson.
- 3.5
- If more time is needed to finish the Counting Pockets Number Stories Scratch lesson, eliminate “Mental Math and Fluency” on p. 274.
- 3.6 –One Day Added
- Day 1:
- Eliminate “Demonstrating and Playing Subtraction Top-It” on p. 282.
- Eliminate “Practice” on p. 283.
- Teach the Stamping Number Stories Scratch lesson.
- Day 2
- Final Project Number Stories Scratch lesson. Do step # 1– 6.
- Ok students problems, then let students finish Final Project Number Stories Scratch Lesson.
- Be sure to allow time for students to solve each other’s Final Project.
